POSITION SUMMARY:

Manage and facilitate a renovation project through origination.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Maintain a proficient knowledge of all project guidelines and procedures for renovation loan programs.
  • Update systems daily to insure accurate reporting.
  • Effectively maintain and manage an active pipeline of 30-40 loans a month.
  • Main point of contact for all renovation related issues for all parties on assigned loans. 
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Answer all questions and give accurate advice to internal and external customers as related to renovation loans.
  • Coordinate and assist all internal and external parties in correctly completing required project documentation pertaining to the renovation portion.
  • Ensure project documents are accurate, consistent and compliant.
  • Review and package required documentation for all renovation products in the origination stage of the loan.
  • Upload all project documentation for underwriting review within 24 hours of receipt of a complete package.
  • Maintain a consistent quality of project reviews; including accuracy and completeness.
  • Underwrite appraisal for renovation specific requirements.
  • Assist in locating renovation documentation for shipping and post-closing departments upon request.
  • Return calls and emails within same workday.
  • Communicate effectively with internal staff to maintain high level of customer service.
  • Communicate effectively with all external customers including, borrowers, contractors, appraisers, and title and escrow staff, to maintain high level of customer service.
  • Maintain and archive all project documentation to the correct system of record.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1+ years of experience in the mortgage industry.
  • Ability to process a high volume of email and phone requests from internal and external sources.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to prioritize and a keen sense of urgency.
  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
