Filing Specialist supports the Investor Delivery Department through effective allocation, indexing, and storage of loan files from Funding to loan purchase.  Upon notification loan has been purchased for has been cleared by the servicer, responsible for pulling files either for shredding or storage to meet state requirements.

Essential Job Function:

  • Receives loan documents after funding.
  • Organize and maintains filing system by Correspondent, Agency, or Government Groups.
  • Pulls files as needed for funding and shipping to obtain docs for re-scanning as needed.
  • Pulls files as needed for shredding from reports.

Skills:

  • Ability to operate quickly and efficiently in a fast paced, high energy team oriented production environment.
  • PC literate and excellent computer skills to include MS Office, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe manipulation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good customer service skills
  • Detail oriented, self motivated and able to multi-task
  • Ability to prioritize daily responsibilities
  • Team/goal oriented

Physical Requirements:

  • Storing hard copy of loan documents in filing cabinets and pulling files for shredding or as needed.
