Position Summary:

Responsible for reviewing incoming loan files for completeness, accuracy and compliance as well as importing and/or uploading the submission into the LOS and any required input of information in order prepare the file for underwriting within defined service levels.  Responsible for the input of information in order to prepare the file for underwriting – which includes but not limited to;, HMDA, 3rd party vendor services as define by LD Wholesale, FHA Connection, DU/LP, the loan origination system or other areas that are essential to the job functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiate loan set-up process to ensure service levels are within defined acceptable levels
  • Conduct appropriate validations and verification of data 
  • Communicate with Lender to collect missing items 
  • Ensure Loan Setup New Submission Pipeline is completed daily and within set SLA
  • Communicate with 3rd party vendors as necessary
  • Provide feedback to OPS and Sales management on file quality and solutions for process improvement  
  • Communicate with 3rd party vendors as necessary 
  • Monitor system updates, form changes and state specific requirements to ensure compliance
  • Communicate with Management and other leadership positions when service levels are at risk   


Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of lending compliance and regulations
  • Ability to work efficiently under time constraints and pressure

  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality
  • Knowledge of 2010 RESPA changes preferred; Experience with FHA Connection is preferred
  • 2+ Years customer service experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) programs
